The investment in Switz Lanka (brand name - Happy Hen, a poultry farm) has been the first non-bakery diversification. The farm is currently handling 150,000 laying hens per day making it amongst the largest single farm production in Sri Lanka. Expansion plans include a breeder farm, threefold expansion of birds and an egg processing facility.  It is managed by a youthful Zaffar Jeevunjee.
