Modern Oman Bakery joined the Switz group in 1982. It has thrived as a business and now has forty-six bakery shops across Oman with a further four planned for 2011. Each shop sells fresh Arabic bread, savouries, sandwiches and cakes supported by local production and a central production facility that opened in 1990.
