Koulourades

Koulourades opened its first store in Greece in 2016 selling bakery products based on the traditional Greek product “koulouri”. In a very short time, the company has managed to re-establish the most traditional of Greek street foods: the Authentic Thessaloniki’s Koulouri. We are the alternative, who made young people change their eating habits and adopt a product of high nutritional value.

The new trend rapidly drew franchisees interested in creating new stores. To meet the unexpected demand, the company opened a new and larger training school, which trains more than 50 candidate employees daily. In 2019, the company expanded beyond Athens to other large cities in Greece. In 2018, Koulourades launched 44 new stores.

Every day, the Koulourades network prepares more than 250,000 (sept 2021) koulouria (sesame-coated bread rings) fresh a -la-minute from scratch in every store and caters to over 120,000 unique customers. Expansion to Turkey, Balkans and Cyprus will follow.
